  • Sarasota Bradenton International (SRQ) 10 min from hotel, Tampa International (TPA) 1 hr 6 min (54.2 miles) from hotel, Fort Myers (RSW) 1 hr 25 min (90.8 miles) from hotel.

  • We will have a block at the Westin Sarasota. Please be mindful that this a very busy time in South West Florida and rates will rise closer to the date so try and hop on the room block! Our rate gives you a 50% amenity fee per day that will be applied at CHECK OUT .

  • 2 hour sunset cruise, this is a very calm ride through the Sarasota Bay! Drinks and food to be provided. This will take place post check in so everyone has a chance to drop bags and walk over.

  • Boarding the boat starts at 4:30 PM with a prompt departure at 5:00 PM.

  • As much as we want to ring in the New Year with the next generation (!) we kindly request that children do not attend.

  • Westin Sarasota Check in is 4:00 PM and check out is 12:00 PM.

  • Night 1 Boat has two floors the top deck is partially covered and the bottom level is fully enclosed and covered.

    Night 2 Welcome Party will take place outdoors with partial coverage.

    Night 3 Wedding Celebration will take place indoors for the entirety of the evening.

  • Embassy Suites, Aloft, Art Ovation Hotel, & The Modern -Bride and groom will be staying at the Westin.

  • Transportation will be provided for guests on NYE. All event venues (Boat, Welcome Party, and Wedding Reception are all under 0.5mi walk or close Uber from the Westin Hotel.)

  • Walk to the local restaurants and shops in downtown Sarasota. OR bike the bridge over to Lido Beach and St. Armands Circle. Siesta Key is a 15 minute drive. The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art.

  • Night 1 Boat will be relaxed and give everyone a chance to settle into the celebrations, food and beverage will be provided.

    Night 2 Welcome Party drinks and heavy bites to be provided. Dominoes, music and dancing as we mingle our way through night two.

    Night 3 Wedding Celebration guests will gather for some cocktails and canapés before sitting for a family style tapas dinner experience. Dancing and ball drop to follow at Beso.
